Dr Shyam Kumar Katta is a PhD holder from Shri Venkateshwara University, his thesis in Rural Economy and Social development. His research helps to work on the Global Social Issues like Ending Hunger & Poverty, and Climate Change. Using Digital Technology to support the diversified Rural Economy in different sectors like Digital agriculture, Women empowerment, and Social Development.
He is a passionate social development professional building Climate Resilience agriculture value chains and Livestock Value chains towards Global Food Security and support sustainable incomes of women and smallholder farmers. With strong determination he committed to work in the International Development Sector he became a Change Maker, Climate Change Professional, Critial thinker, Livelihood Capacity Builder, Designing Programs, Building Partnerships on SDGs, ESG and CSR. Being highly skilled corporate strategist and communicator with expertise in Project Management, Donor Relationships, fundraising, and risk management, Mr. Katta now draws two decades of experience in senior leadership roles to provide critical guidance in the development sector working with Corporates, Governments, and International NGOs and Grassroot Organizations ( Local NGOs, Farmer Producer Organizations, Community Based Organizations, Self Help Groups, Farmer Interest Groups and Mutually Aided Cooperatives.) He reached more than 2 Million families through 19 projects from Idea State to Designing and implementing and Creating Impact.

Dr. Shyam is a strategic planner, works pm policy creation and implemented efforts for 87 global, domestic, and local organizations whose scope has impacted over 2 million households in 6 states of India, Nepal, and Mexico
Developed and organized project budgets totalling over $95M, responsible for allocating funds and recognized for transparent and ethical budget usage and sound financial techniques. He built a Global Corporate Partnership consortium with Walmart, Cargill and Heifer International with $4Mn towards Hatching Hope Accelerating Incomes: Through Diversifications towards FPO down model.
Under his leadership 120 staff with 3 local NGOs and Government Departments ( SERP, Dept of Horticulture, Dept of Food Processing, Dept of Animal Husbandry and Integrated Tribal Development Authority – ITDA) are piloting Climate Smart Agriculture, Agri value chains for Cotton, Cashew, Groundnut, Tomato, Banana, Beetelnut, Jaffra and Bio Secure Backyard Poultry.
