The Food Conclave played a significant role in bringing all the industry leaders of the Food sector in India under one platform. This platform has intense deliberations on identifying challenges and growth opportunities in the agri-food sector, with 27-panel discussions, 5 roundtables, and more than 40 one-on-one meetings between State & Central Government and industry leaders.
The focus of the Conclave is on products and solutions pertaining to #climatechange, storage, processing machinery, packaging, distribution, quality and safety check by the development of machinery, integrated tech platform for storage and payment, AI/IOT-based real-time Godown monitoring, traceability to monitor commodity quality, biodegradable post- harvest packaging while building special food processing zones.
This vision of the state of #Telangana looks very clear to stand as a State of Food for the Globe and to play a significant role in Global Food Security.
Honorable Minister Shri Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) Garu, said that the Industry leaders made a commitment of $855Mn #investment towards Food Processing, which will create fifty thousand additional jobs for the state.
